April 2024 Meeting

Christine welcomed 20 members to our April Meeting, her last as President. This was the meeting at which members paid their subscriptions for 2024-2025, at a lower rate than the standard, owing to a large reduction in the share claimed by our own WI. At the conclusion of the business meeting, Christine handed over the Presidency to Jennifer, who presented her with flowers with thanks for her sterling work.

Since a considerable amount of time had been spent on discussion of our future and budgetary matters, plus voting on the 2024 NFWI Resolution: Dental Health Matters, the games night was abandoned and instead members enjoyed the opportunity to chat amongst themselves.

The competition for a Teddy Bear or similar Soft Toy was won by Mavis with her large Teddy Bear.

There was also a sales table for books and jigsaws.
